Daniel Reynolds achieves true copies from real vegetables for his vases, bowls and platters. He actually takes an impression of the fruit in order to make a mould.  In this way the original is recreated in exact detail of form and structure but out of porcellain. Familiar and if so desired also mouth-watering.  Only when we see it in its purest form do we admire the aestetic quality of fresh uncooked fruit and vegetable. A pumpkin turns into a bullet-shaped vase and a chinese cabbage contains roses.

Daniel Reynolds takes nature and turns it into an abstract piece of art by presenting the details with extreme precision -  in pure white or in a pastel shade. This allienation gives pure elegance to his work, celebrates natur's astheticism and is not just surprising but also very decorative.

Daniel Reynolds works in Illifle Yard in London which is one of the renowned creative centres in the English capital city. He exhibits his objects and still lives from Venezuela all the way to Hong Kong and is a favourite in the international Interior Magazines. In Germany we are the first at craft2eu to show real 'Reynoldsware'  which is here  until now still an insider tip.

The first Photo/first row is published in Living at Home 08/2009 magazine
